Press Release - Los Angeles Marathon - 3/16/11

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Full Traffic Details for Marathon Sunday Now Available

Detailed road closure and parking information now posted online

LOS ANGELES, March 15, 2011 – Detailed traffic information is now available
for Sunday's Honda LA Marathon presented by K-Swiss.

A comprehensive map of the route, street closures, nearby parking lots and
race information is now available online at www.Commuterama.com to make
planning much easier.

"It is our goal to work with each city to re-open the streets as soon as
possible," said LA MARATHON LLC chief operating officer Nick Curl. "Because
the Stadium to the Sea course is a point-to-point route, we will be able to
open streets more quickly than the old loop courses," he said.

A simplified map of the course with approximate road re-opening times is
available on the Marathon Web site at
www.LAmarathon.com/community/community-info/.

Streets in downtown Los Angeles will re-open by about 10 a.m., in West
Hollywood by about 1 p.m., in Beverly Hills by about 1:30 p.m. and in west
Los Angeles by approximately 3 p.m. Streets in Santa Monica are expected to
re-open for the most part by 5 p.m., with the finish line at Ocean and
California Avenues open until 9 p.m. Sunday evening. All of the area's
freeways will be open, although some on-ramps/off-ramps will be closed.

The race will start at Dodger Stadium, with the wheelchair athletes going
first at 6:53 a.m., the women's elite field at 7:11 a.m. and the men's
elites and the rest of the field at approximately 7:29 a.m.

Detailed additional information has been compiled by the participating
cities and their transit agencies, including:

the Marathon situation in Santa Monica is available for both Apple and
