Early Entry Deadline Approaching for Running Nirvana

REGISTER BEFORE FEBRUARY 28 AND SAVE FOR THE INAUGURAL SEATTLE EVENT

Seattle, WA – February 26, 2009 - The Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon & Half
Marathon, set for June 27, 2009, is announcing that runners and walkers who
register by the end of the month can take advantage of an early entry fee
for the inaugural race.

Current registration prices for the event are $100 for the marathon and $85
for the half –marathon. The current prices will hold through midnight on
February 28, when they will increase to $120 and $100, respectively. The
Northwest's premier summertime running event will feature ideal weather,
live music from local bands and hundreds of high school cheer squads along
each mile of the course.

"So far the feedback we have received from runners about the course
announcement has been terrific," said Megan Young, Event Manager,
commenting on the race course which was recently unveiled to the public.
"With less than a week to go before the entry fee increases, we want to
make sure that everyone looking to save money and secure their spot at the
start line is aware of the February deadline."

The race start will be located in the city of Tukwila and begin with an
invitational elite wheelchair race at 6:50 am, followed by a simultaneous
marathon and half-marathon start at 7:00 am. The course then winds its way
through the residential neighborhoods including Seward Park, Lakewood and
Mount Baker before running along the waterfront banks of Lake Washington
from miles 6 through 10.

After the half-marathon course splits from the marathon, the course
continues through downtown and onto the Alaskan Way Viaduct, entering the
Battery Street tunnel and the Aurora Ave. Bridge overlooking Lake Union.
The course turns around, heading south, offering breathtaking views of
Puget Sound and the downtown skyline before looping back around to the West
Seattle Bridge with the finish line adjacent to the half-marathon finish
just outside of Qwest Field.

The musical party continues at the evening post-race concert, which is also
open to the general public. All registered participants and race volunteers
receive a free ticket to the concert at Marymoor Park on race night. For
