FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

                       TCM Seeks New Board Members

The Board of Directors of Twin Cities in Motion is beginning its process 
for selecting new board members. One seat will be vacant in October through 
a resignation; the person selected for that position serves through the end 
of 2016. Four seats open at the end of the year. Individuals selected for 
those seats serve terms of four years (1/14 through 12/17).

The Board is interested in adding to or supplementing its collective skills 
as part of this year’s selection process.  We are seeking individuals with 
expertise in: 

General business 
Organizational development 
Finance 
Entrepreneurship. 

In addition, board candidates would ideally have the following 
characteristics:

Passion for Twin Cities in Motion, its mission and programs. 
Previous experience serving on boards. 
Knowledge of and experience in not-for-profit organizations. 
Proven leadership ability in business settings.
Experience as a participant and/or a volunteer in Twin Cities in Motion 
activities.
