Twin Cities In Motion Adds Corey Walther to Board of Directors
St. Paul, Minn. – (April 6, 2015) – Twin Cities In Motion (TCM), the
nonprofit organization that hosts the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and an
array of Twin Cities-based running events for adults and children, added
Corey Walther to its Board of Directors earlier this year and reappointed
three directors to second terms.
Walther is the Chief Operating Officer for Allianz Life Financial Services
where he is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s day-to-day
operating activities, including sales support, distribution, strategy and
product implementation, marketing initiatives, supervision and resource
allocation. Walther, who runs, bikes, and coaches youth sports in his free
time, has been with Allianz since 2001.
Bob Boisvert of Fredrikson & Byron, Martin Cassidy of Thomson Reuters GRC,
and Tom Cronin of TCF Bank return to the board for new terms.
"We're pleased to add Corey to our board and retain Bob, Martin, and Tom
for another term," Twin Cities In Motion Board President Charlie Fazio
said. "Corey brings valuable skills and experience to the board which will
nicely complement the abilities of those already in place."
The TCM Board defines strategy and guides the financial health of the
organization which hosts running events year-round in the Twin Cities.
