"Great Trail Run - Lots of FUN" (General Comments)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 1 Organization was pretty good - Lots of awards, big finish banner with a clock, great aid stations with helpful volunteers. The course was well designed with a variety of terrains to keep it interesting. The spectaclar views along the way were distracting (in a good way). I am glad I ran it. The only thing needed is an organized pre-pasta dinner at a local restaurant or the Snow Mountain Ranch.

"An awesome course that will challenge the fittest" (about: 2002)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 4 As I ran the 26.2 mile course, I hated it. I hated every hill that I came across. Looking back now it was an awesome course that challenged my running ability to the fullest. Before trying to take on this marathon, I recommend adding some tough hill training. Water stations, snacks, etc. were good considering this is a smaller marathon and there were no sponsors. The scenery was spectacular!!!

"Bring your water with you" (General Comments)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 2 FANS: 2 Nice location. I did the marathon in 2001. Take your water with you. There are only 3 waterstops on the loop (13.1). The finisher medal and the T-shirt could be better if we consider the entry fee ($60).

"Tough but Great" (about: 2001)
COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 2 A tough challenging course but in a great location. Running in the woods was great. The organization was very good. The aid stations were very helpful and enthusiatic. Fans only near aid stations, but then you don't run a trail marathon for fans. This marathon is definitely worth the effort |
