This USATF Certified Course is run on dedicated running path (no cars on our course!) this course will take you along. Travel along the New River trail system through Peoria and Glendale Arizona.

Have run the November 'NY in AZ' version of this so I tried the Spring version. Too warmneeds an earlier start. Mostly concrete, shared path with halfers and local bikers/peds but thins out after the half. Full sun, no shade. Some rollers. Scant water stopsshould've had one every mile for the last 6 or 7, esp. with the heat. Zero first aid which could be an issue on the 13-26 barren stretch. Medal and ribbon had no date on it. Pluses: walker-friendly, started on time, plenty of pre- and post-race food, easy packet pick up, no time limit to finish. Mile markers should have been on opposite sides and directional signs/cones were missing or blown over. Friendly volunteers, race director, updated emails. Priced a bit high for such a no-frills race. Still, a nice simple race without big crowds or access issues.
