COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 I love the Big Cottonwood Canyon races! It's one of the most beautiful courses in the state. The organization is top notch in every facet. They truly keep the runners as the focal point in everything they do. From the expo to the finish line to the pictures. This is how runners like to be treated - with class.

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 I ran this race faster than my first marathon. And I knew I was in worse shape and weighed more. This course is just flat faster than any thing else I have ever done. I will for sure do it again!

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 Loved this race. It is a lot of down hill which I thought would be good...but after this race, I was sore after like my first marathon. I will be running this one again! Top notch organization!

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 3 Ran the Half last year Loved it, I was disapointed in the course change. Ran the full Marathon this year, I really liked starting at Guardsman but i understand why you changed back to Brighton, I am not a fan of out and back courses but i do like the change to Wasatch and i think having a down hill finish is much better, I would recommend not having the finish line be just past 13th E. rather i would turn into the road to Home Depot. I do like the Half marathon course much better, the further up the canyon you can start the better. You need to work on your awards both in what you give out and in getting them to the winners quicker. Your finisher medals Rock.

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 3 Loved this course. They if a great job with making it appeal to racers with swag, pics, etc. A few standard hiccups with a newer race, but the organizers are quick in figuring it all out.

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 4 Had fun and am excited for next year. I wish the shirts showed the difference between the half and full marathon like 26.2 or 13.1 or different colors instead of all one color.

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 4 Don't let downhill fool you. This is a challenging, but fun course. Even experienced runners must be well trained for a very different type of running ... tough on knees, calves, and toes!

COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 3 FANS: 2 The start was too crowded with the buses, people and potties. Plus the fact that one of the buses got stuck. A rough start. The run through the canyon was beautiful. I hated running on the streets of Murray with traffic all around and no idea where I was. Just wanted to finish. BUT, I am running again next year. So glad they modified the course. |
